newbie

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but i have a bone stock 95 auto SE, and im looking to supercharge it, and boost it to 400HP, and i would also like a TQ figure that is constant, i.e. a very shallow dyno graph, i hope you understand what im saying... but anyway, what would be the best way to start, as of now i have 1000 saved for the SC, and am working on more. Just wondering what i would have to upgrade to make 400. Thanks for any help in advance.

I don't know if there have been any S/C'ed Maxes that made 400HP without the aid of nitrous (if any at all). And to do that, you'll probly need at least $5000.

Yea dude, theres no way you're going to make 400whp with $1000. And obviously you dont know too much about boost/superchargers for the Maxima.

Youre 16...how are you going to drop $5k+ into your bone stock 95 max? You need to do a LOT of research and find out what youre doing before just doing it. Not just asking what can you get with $1000.

400hp theres a member with alittle under that here but thats not as easy as 1,2,3 my friend. you need more to do along with the 400hp, you can't just make it 400hp and thats it. do some research.............

PArty poopers !!!

You can push 400HP with 1grand,ok well you might spend a smigin more. But it's deffinitely possible. If you know anything about J/Y turbos(sizing and all) and welding your own stuff. Wich judging by your post(no offense) I don't think you have down packed. See there's shortcuts to everything...you just gotta know how to find'em

400whp is not an easy mission with the supercharger kit that is available for the max. You'd have an easier time making that much power (and then some) with a turbo. Guys like Stephen Max and iansw have tons invested in their supercharger setups, these guys are cutting no corners, and are in the 350whp range. As far as power and supporting mods, I'd estimate they've spent at least $6-7,000, plus the cost of tuning if you can't do it yourself. Not an easy mission you are embarking on here.

True,
But remember...shorting corners is not exactly a bad thing. Depending on the year of the max and planned setup, along with who you know and what you know can factor as a cut in cost and labor. But anyway,RockfordMax, I wish yah the best of luck on your journey and due post pics.

OK.. 400 hp is easy. There are several members making 400hp.

It takes a smaller pulley, Mevi, Bigger injectors, ECU management, Exhaust,........ OH YEAH.. a little more than asking what it takes.

It takes RESEARCH.

Not, answer my post. LOCKED

BTW gang, he said "400 HP"... .Not 400 WHP
