Live Edit works...

Well I'm in St. Louis right now visiting family but I wanted to report that with a few hours of Bernard's help I now have the Pocket Romulator working with a Bin. file that he guided me through in live edit. I've got some time here to read a 34page homework assignment he gave me on working with Hex code and other information about how all that works. The car's never been running better. The wideband's up and working too. Maby Mark could post a pic of the bracket that I made for the Maximas to hold the Innovative Motorsports Wide band?
Well thanks again Bernard you are the man!

Ps.. Who lived in St. Louis? I'd like to go for a nitrous ride!

Shifter...

Yea.. When I bought the car the guy had cut the stock shifter stick so far down that It was almost impossible to not only reach but very hard to shift with no leverage! So.. I had a extra B&M shift handle off my old ratchet style auto shifter and heated up a fine thread bolt bent it at a 45deg angle and welded it to what was left of the stock stick. It's very comfortable to use and I can reach it
Thanks Mark for posting the pic's!
If anyone needs one of those brackets it costs about 15.00 to make with the steel and paint. It attatches to a stock bolt there on the side of the center console.. no drilling required. Or I can put one of those flexible attatching units for higher positioning. Anyone interested just mail me.

On the Live Edit.. Anyone wanting to make that work on their cars let me know.. It's definatly possible.. I'm going to be learning ALOT in the next few months till I get it all figured out. I'm going to put together a step by step process manual when I'm done so it'll be easier on everyone that wants to change their tune. Documented in terms a normal person can follow like a kid's book.
Slimer... We drove the family 98 GMC Jimmy here... with the presents two kids wife and Me.. it's too much stuff for the Maxima.. But it would have been fun!!!

I've also got a way of giving a nissan ecu a boosted launch. In theory it should work, but I'll test it out on my own car first. Just in case I switch to a stick this year it would be nice to still have 3000 rpm 5-10 psi (fully programmable) at the touch of a button with a stock ecu.

By throwing alot of fuel down low it spools the turbo up alot faster (we use this trick on the buick's alot) It works great. That'd be fantastic! Let me know how that go's!

Scott, my setup will be used at the staging lights to develop boost before launching before the engine has seen any load. Push the button to activate the launch setup at the lights, after you've started the run, everything's back to normal. You could make this work with your standalone as well.
