Boost & EGT Gauge Question...

I have a boost and an EGT gauge at my house, but was I supposed to order anything else to hook them up with? They never mentioned anything to me when i was ordering them.

nope.

you have to have a bung welded to the y-pipe (most people put it at the collector) and then screw the thermocouple (the silver thermometer thingy) into the pipe.

for the boost gauge, do you have electronic or mechanical? for mechanical, just ziptie a vacuum line really really tight and feed the straw throught the firewall and attach it to the gauge. for electronic, your guess is as good as mine.

spark plug non fouler is what you need, just get one in the thread of your egt probe. it will run you about 6bucks at the zone and just trim it to the depth you need

A bung is just a threaded segment that will let you screw something into the exhaust pipe, like your o2 sensor. For the EGT probe, you could just drill into the manifold and tap it, thats what I did anyways. Just be careful not to strip it. For the boost gauge, I just cut a vacuum line coming off the manifold, and put in a tee I bought at autozone. You will also need a rubber adapter to fit the plastic hose (or straw ) onto it.
