Finally installed my supercharger

Just wanted to say what's up. After tow long week ends I finally got the car boosting. This has to be the greatest mod ever car run and idols like stock but above 3300 rpm's pulls like crazy. I was surprised how quiet the v 2 is idling but at higher rpm's you definitely know its there. I will be going to the track on wed. Anyone know what I should be running more or less v 2,warpspeed y auto soon to be a 5 speed swap.

I have never ran at the track before but a auto with just a y pipe and intake I don't think it would of ran much better than low 15's. I think some where in the mid to low 14 would be good for my set up now?

Most Auto maxes around here seem to run low 16's/High 15's without SC and with CAI/Exhaust.

Don't be dissapointed if you don't break into the low 14's - I'm guessing since you've never raced before (a good 1 if not more second is the driver) and you have the stock SC, that your times will be 14.5-15.3, depending on how well you hook the tires up.

Most likely your times will get better and better the more runs you do that day.

This is straight from the stillen site, and the test was by Motor Trend using a 3.6 pulley. This was also auto.

STILLEN Maxima Supercharger. Motor Trend Magazine tested one of our supercharged SMX Maximas (December 1998) and got the following results: 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds (stock was 7.4). Their 1/4 mile time was 14.4 seconds at 98.8 mph vs. stock at 15.5, 90 mph. Their conclusion: "...a roomy...four-door that humbles prestigious sport sedans costing double, trip or quadruple (as much)."

Yeah that is the sad thing with Auto's that have the stock pulley. You could spend under $400 dollars to do that same 1/4 mile time in a 5Spd.
