I dunno about sterty, but it's plenty sturdy! It's made out of hard rubber. The ID is 3", so you will need to build up the blower discharge tube with some boost hose to get from 2.75" to 3". You will also need some very strong hose clamps, such as T-bolts, to compress the hard rubber down against the piping.
