MEVI should provide you two benefits:

1) Good top-end airflow... very important for turbo setup
2) Traction control... low-end torque loss should make it easier to prevent wheel spin

there are a few using both. The low end TQ loss is not as dramatic as with a SC. You don't need an extended red line, just a properly sized turbo to use the most of the stock rpm range

.69 AR might choke you on top end

MEVI, Emanage, 370s .81AR T4/T04E Turbonetics Turbo, Even with a MEVI the car pulls very hard. Dont think for one minute you wont lose traction with the MEVI. I lost traction on the freeway and I have a quaife

i dont know why you worried about the low-end frank. When boost hits, you better hold on.

My car had MEVI and turbo, no MEVI anymore because with nitrous, it puddles and blows the MEVI up literally. I am hoping that a 2000VI will work better, and I plan to try it this summer after I finish some other things.
