First off thanks for looking. I have a problem with my car on the highway when I am at 55-80 mph. at a steady pace my car hesitates or feels like its surging or misfiring its hard to decribe.It only dose it when I am holding a steady speed or letting off the gas to slow down. The car starts up fine and idles normal at 600 rpm with out bouncing. I think it might be the MAF. I don't think it could be an intake leak because it dose idles very good and starts normal any suggestions on what I should check? thanks in advance

yes runing a v2 and a ypipe.

 

I think u are leaking air somewhere. check your joints and piping..I had the same issue when i ran an NSX on the freeway...it feels like it is bogging at certain speeds, and almost feels like misfiring like almost a blown motor. check all the pipings & your MAF

 

Do you have emanage? I get this same thing with emanage between 80-85mph in 5th (actually its RPM dependent, it will happen in other gears at that rpm range). Sounds similar, but I doubt you have emanage so it's probably a totally separate issue with similar symptoms.

 

No I don't have any tuning or tuning device just what came with the stillen kit and a ypipe my car already had.The car was running good for 21/2 weeks or so just started doing this a couple days ago I will have to check for intake leak I just pulled the blower off last weekend to replace a broken belt might have left something loose? BTW is there an alternative to the crossover pipe that puts the MAF and air filter under the battery?

 

Yeah, thats a cold air intake that you would cut a hole in the fender for. Maybe your belt is loose or your bov is not tight enough. What bov do you have?

 

Belt slip seeing as that is the only variable you recently altered. Check that.
