On my 2k1 10-12psi was the limit on the charged side, then moved it to the intake side of the turbo. I blew the MAF too many times on the charged side, never on the non-charged side.

on the pfi kit - you'll probably have stalling issues since the maf is on the non charged side, but with the emanage that you're getting - there is an anti stall function which clamps onto a user inputted maf voltage - thereby inhibiting the car from running too rich and stalling.

For the 4th gen, I don't think it will fail. But on the 5th gens, apparently the MAF is more fragile. My MAF on my '97 is mounted on the charged side just like it was when I had the SC.

I think both the emanage and AFC have antistall features. But I do remember it was kind of funny riding in a PFI'd car, he'd get on the boots and back off and the car would stall out at 85 mph on the highway.

Z32 maf on charged side for over 15 months, boosting to 11.5 psi, lately to 12.5 psi. No problems.

13-18psi charged side Z32 maf, no problems that I know of. Been this way for at least a year and a half if I recall correctly.
