too rich with 259cc

Ok I put a set of 259cc in yesterday and the car is running dog rich. It want even idele or not blow nothing but black smoke out of the exhaust .
Well I have a safc 2 but nothing I do on it will seem to help. Mtcookson also has 259cc and I used his same # of his setting for the safc . They are working for him but nothing for me. OK I think the safc is making corrections because when I had the 180cc in their I could turn the fuel up or down and hear the motor tune change.

The only codes on ecu are the maf and coolent temperture sensor. Ok the maf is testing fine so I dont think thats the problem and I have tryed my spare.Ok the coolent temperture senor has been bad for a while I have replaced both of them with no luck of getting rid of code. But how do I get this bad boy to take the 259cc injectors.

are you sure that the injectors are seated correctly or if you didn't pinch one of the o-rings upon install?? I know it took me 3 times back in the day to get a set of injectors in the VG seated right when I did my first injector job.

have you had a chance to check the resistance of the coolant temp. sensor yet?

your ecu is programmed for stock injectors. try lowering your fuel pressure.

turned out it was a broken wire that went to the coolant temp. sensor from when the crossmember broke. he fixed the wire and the afc started doing its job right away and leaned it out properly.

yeah its crazy how much the cooant temp. sensor controlls the fuel. But one more problem it seems to be realy hard to crank.

Oh yeah Mark out of the blue the dam throttle % just up and goes to working.
