AWESOME RUN MARDI GRAS! You are an inspiration to many! Keep doing what you do.

I know I'll never invest that much into my car to run even in the 11's, 13's would be cool.

But I guess racing is like modding, once you start it's hard to stop!

Great going man!

nice run matt I was hoping you were going to stay around for the brackets. I called Jason and you guys had left about a half an hour before they called 11.99's and quicker to the staging lanes. It had cooled off a bunch more than when you ran the 11.4. Keep up the good work

that timing is far to conservative you could easily run another 5-10 degrees especially with the J&S

heres a timing calculator you can download http://www.msefi.com/download.php?id=1644

the chart is rpm/KPA

under 100 being vacume
100kpa being 0 boost
and 200 kpa being about 14.7psi and the calc is on the conservative side

This is exactly the reason why I30tMikeD put down 30whp MORE on a stock ECU even while running 4lbs LESS boost. JWT timing is insanely conservative. I wonder how high that's pushing EGTs?

I must thank Corey at Redlinemax for his parts help. Jason and Adai for their help in the pits and at the starting line. And Tapout for letting me try out a set of 26x10 MT ET Drags. I only got two runs so I know with more time at the track and a bit more tuning I can get more out of her. For this event I had to leave the passanger seat in. I plan on going to a test and tune with it stripped down, a/c removed etc. Perhaps a 10.999 will happen Today I was running ~18psi and a 75hp shot of juice. Launching at the revlimit with the juice. Im VERY happy with the 330' time. The trap should be a bit higher, the juice wasnt hittinng as hard as it should in the higher gears. All in all dropping over a tenth and a half is great, but I'd love to get her in the 10's.
Maybe you'd be faster with the 24.5/8.5 size, because of the smaller diameter. Your 60' was .05 better on your 11.56 run, and that also might explain why you didn't feel the juice as much in the higher gears; heavier, taller tires. Just a thought.

Still, the fact that you ran 11.40 on your SECOND run is a very good sign.

They're going to start harassing you for a 6-point cage soon enough

WTF ran a 15.504@60.52? Even my worst track time (16.748) trapped 83.48, with a 2.497 60ft.

Looks like he broke down or shut it down halfway through the run? 1.841 60ft...

it was a fox body Mustang, full cage and what not, maybe a blower but I'm not sure, could have been a mildly built n/a or nitrous, but I'm guessing he had some 11s in him(most cars in that class were high 10s to 11s). I'm pretty sure he broke something down the way, but tough ****, he deserved it cause he was acting like an *** to Matt in the staging lane.

He certainly didn't make it to the 1/8 mile. 8.60 is usually above 80 mph. And he got beaten by a FWD maxima on the launch.

You are the MAN!! I wish I was home, cause I would have been there. Oh well, at least I saw your 11.7 earlier this year. Congrats Matt, you deserve this, and I'm sure your work will pay off, and if you think you can pull a 10.9, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it happens. Way to go man. I can't believe I almost missed this thread/news.

Yeah you should have heard it too. I thought it was another supra coming down the track but it wasnt. The sound of that turbo spooling and BOV makes me want it.
