Ok so I got my new turbo and wastegate back. The oil is leaking once again - so I'm going to be putting in an electric oil pump, and pump the oil up to the valve cover.

Now for the wastegate. I still have the problem where the wastegate was open at idle

- I disconnected the harness for the blitz SBCID solenoid - and it still remains open.

- I clamped off the hose that goes to the wastegate from the solenoid - and now the wastegate closes and does its job correctly.

Everything is connected correctly as far as electrical and vacuum connections go. Seems to me that the solenoid has took a **** - and somehow, vacuum is getting through the "out" nipple, when it shouldn't be. Anyone have any suggestions as far as repairing this issue?...

Throw that SBC-ID garbage away, my SBCID and Ericks SBC-ID took a crap and it spiked alot. That blitz is awesome for spool up but it would spike like its no tomorrow. Now the Greddy Profec E01, that would hold boost very steady!
