fuel system

i did some more stuff today. new fuel filter, fuel line into rail is complete. mounted fuel pressure regulator, and wired z32 plug in. i started removing old ecu. can anyone tell me a easy method.

on the ecu, bend the metal supports , it's a PITA to get out

ECU removal? Don't try and remove the ECU from the bracket (little screws), remove the whole bracket and ECU together. Still a PITA. Never did get it to ever go back in right.

That yellow shine so bright,is that powder coat or paint?

By far the easiest way to remove the ecu is with this:

Use the V-notched bit and put it against the head of the screw. The screw will shear off very neatly. Do all four screws (takes maybe 2 minutes) and you can slide the ecu out and the new one in.

thanks guys for all of your ideas. i will try a couple things later this week and let you guys know what i did.
