Water/alcohol injection installed.

Finished installing it on Saturday. I used the Coolingmist kit which comes with a 100psi pump. Right now i am running 80% water 20% alcohol. The main reason i bought the kit was to help prevent against detonation since i am running stock timming. I have noticed the car is stronger in the upper part of the power band than it was before. Rght now the car feels totally different than it did a couple of months ago. As bad of traction issues as i am having being a automatic i can't imagine how it will be when i do the 5 speed swap this summer .

Why 80/20 and not more 50/50?

They say water is better for detonation prevention which is why i bought it. I will try to see what the differences are of adding more alcohol once i get on the dyno.

Blackcat, i will take some pics later today or tommorow, butt you really can't see anything except the hose. We had to mount the pump on my frame rail underneath my bumper cover and i used the stock washer bottle as the tank.

The Alcohol will raise the octane level and the water will cool the air down. The Alcohol will also lower the freezing point of the water in case you live in freezing condiations. In LA in the summer I would probably run more water. In the winter when the temps go down I might add more alcohol into the mix.
