Wow A V2 S/c For Sale $2400 Shipped
Well I hate to do it but it looks like I am selling my s/c. Its a V/2 have all new bolts new 3.25 pulley every thing needed to install its in my car right now just don't have the belt hook up. Will come with a begi adjustable fmu about 250 new much nicer than the vortec one. Like I said new pulley new bolts and begi, every thing else stock. I don't know the miles bought it used runs great no noises the only thing I could find really wrong would be the mounting bracket has one of the bolt holes broken I think its common on these .I have the piece that broke could be welded back just did not see the need. The s/c looks nice I have it polished piping is black some scratches cant really notice where they are. Cant really think of any thing else like I said don't know the miles on it bought from a guy on the org. it was his wife's car. My car is auto so yes it will work on automatic. I have a dyno with the stock pulley of 268 hp (everything else on car stock no exhaust or anything else done) that was un tuned before the begi adjustable fmu and my afc. With the 3.25 on right now I would think very close to 300hp.Will sell for $2400 with shipping. I will take some pics tomorrow. email pfactor172@aol.com thanks for looking

Broken brackets is not a common problem on V2 unless the install was done improperly. One of our members can vouch for that. A new bracket runs about $500.00
Common problems w/V2 is the melting of the pullies or incorrect alignment

I heard the v2 brackets are crap the v1 are much better. If it is caused by a bad install I would not know that's how I bought it. I know I seen a few others with the same peace broken. Like I said dose not affect it. the kit bolts up fine, its a small peace less then half a inch I will try to get some pics tomorrow.

Yes begi, cartech same thing. I polished the s/c myself just sanded it down 200 grit 400 grit all the way down to like 1500 grit then I just used mothers polish came out good. No the s/c is not sold yet some people interested but nothing firm yet if you want pics you can email me and I will send some thanks Luis.

I am selling because I got nailed doing 125 in a 55. YES it was stupid I know. I did not get a ticket the state trooper was really cool I have never got a ticket in my life im 28 and been driving since I was 16 im sure that help me talk my way out of it. Anyway I drive for a living and don't need to lose my license. Its to much temptation having that thing under the hood. As far as the broken belt im not sure if that was the problem I don't think so I shimmed with some thin washers and it seemed to be working fine. I could weld that peace should not be a problem but I wont be pulling it out of my car till I have a buyer for sure. I will take some pics of the bracket for those interested tomorrow.

WTF?!? Just asking a question...
If yours is $2400 and I need a new bracket that's $500 if I could even get $tillen to sell one and then soon after install find out it needs a rebuild that's what $3200-$3400 for your used kit vs. $3800 new from Avalon Racing...no thanks.
So, IMHO the bracket being okay is a BIG deal and you would help your sale if you could simply post pics of what is broken, since you're right, I don't know what it is or how it could possibly be the reason behind your belt shredding issues I found a couple threads from you about, so let the SC experts here see what's up and put my..maybe others..questions to rest.
I was interested(slightly), but now...go *** yourself.
