what kind of time? for 1/4

ok I have a 3rd gen turbo that i ran 13.9 with a bad knock and street tires on crome rims a while back. My 60ft was 2.3that was done on 10psi on a stock ct26.

Ok im currently working on getting the money up for these mods and wainting on my cams to get back.

But with these new mods what do you think i could run?

Ported throttle body, intake manifold HEADS and ported exhaust mainfolds.
Lighten flywheel
udp
isky cams I think the grind is like 258/260. Stock is 242/242
Et streets on tt z rims for the front
ANd not last but least a upgraded ct26 with a 60-1 and a 10 degree clip.

ANd im going to try to turn up the boost to like 15 or 16psi.
tell me what do you think i might could run and what i may break

p.s boosted maxima has already ported his heads and manifold and no cams up grade and gained 7mph on his trap speed in the 1/4

I say you will definately run a 12.5353243974 @ 108.93398327 if you can manage a 2.159467944 60' time...

haha

what was your trap when you ran the 13.9?

i would say 12s shouldnt be a problem as long as the trans holds

what does it cost to upgrade the ct26 it might be cheaper to just buy a different turbo besides a 60-1 is pretty big, capable of over 500hp and if you have no plans to go that high it would be a waste and slow down your spoolup.

according to turbocalc a to4e 50 trim or t58 or GT35 would suit you much much better keeping you above 70% (closer to 80%) compressor effiecientcy from 3500 to redline whereas the 60-1 would never get above 65%

its going to cost right around $400. But now that ive talk to some supra people they say that the 57trim uprade would do the best. I traped 103mph back then when I ran 13.9 that was before all this work is going to be done.

57trim would work to and be much more fitting than a 60-1

with 103mph your knocking on the 12sec door with sticky meats so with all that it shouldnt be a problem

well im sure a gt30 would work fine to (dont have that map in calc) but the according to the calc a vg with his stuff (maybe 180na Bhp) @ 15psi puts him smack dab in the highest efficiency rance of the 71mm gt35 above 70% from 3500 to redline

that's weird, i could have swore i read somewhere that the gt35's map didn't match too well with the vg. i'll look around for it to see if i'm even remembering correctly

edit: here we go, this is the page i'm thinking of http://www.mygen.com/users/dbruce/my...sor%20Maps.htm

i'm sure both would work pretty good and make a borg-warner-trashing fun time

GT35 seems to match up well to me, though I didn't mess around with the VE or IC eff at all, just used my VQ info.
