well after 2 long years of wiring issues my 99 is back once again........after i spun a rod bearing in the DET i decided too paint the engine bay and somewhere along that time i had some major wiring issues (cali spec). So now i have a 95 full harness and its almost road worthy. BTW Its now 6spd and not auto anymore. The turbo is back on and its ready too rock. I will have pics in a few days.

Its a 3.0 right now but its gonna be a 3.2 as soon as i get 555cc inj's.
I love the 6 spd trans i can do 65mph @2k rpm. Im only runnning 3psi right now with a t3/t4 with stage 5 exhaust housing. only got about 4 miles on it i need too get exhaust. It sounds so sweet open exhaust, it whistles like you wouldnt believe.

And the 3.2 setup...you mean VQ35 internals + VQ30 block?

The VQ30 and VQ35 mains have the same dimensions, so the cranks are interchangeable. The rod big end diameters are different, so you would have to change over rods with the crank. The small end diameters are the same, so you can interchange pistons. VQ30 crank and rods in a VQ35 block yields a 3.2 liter displacement with lower CR. VQ35 crank and rods in a VQ30 block yields 3.3 liters with higher CR, but there is the matter of the pistons sticking up .6 mm over the deck that has to be dealt with.

I probably should have said that that is my guess. I don't know for sure what Tilley is doing, but that is how you get to a 3.2 liter displacement and boost friendly lower compression ratio.

Well i got the walbro in today and now this things runs real good. Im running a 5psi and it feels strong. The exedy stage 2 isnt taking it well though. I love the 6 spd trans at 100mph im taching 3200rpm. Im curious what rpm other cars are boosting at? I know i drove a turbo maxima and it had so much lag compared too mine (almost non exsistant). I can hit 5psi by 3000rpm.

Heres an update on my car. Its running great and boosting 7psi now. I have one problem though after boosting it smokes a lil (oil). I was thinking it could be the breather at the front valve cover (breathes too atmosphere)? Anyone have any suggestions?
