Cracked Oil Return Line on V2

I just discovered this yesterday after wondering why I was getting an oil leak after reinstalling the blower. I have a split right where the upper hose clamp grips the outlet nozzle under the blower. Would a rubber hose of the same size be good enough as a replacement?

Just get a stock 4th gen crank case breather hose. To my knowledge this is the exact one stillen used in the kit. I cut mine when taking the blower off a few months ago and used one of my buddies hoses he had just laying around. You have to use a hose w/ that exact bend because every other configuration i tried that wasn't perfect got a kink in it.

Thanks again Spiggy

I don't believe it! I've checked with a dealer and they don't have it in stock. Then they checked with the Nissan Canada warehouse and they have none in stock either. An estimated 3 weeks if I put an order in. I'll have to check with ebay or else the nissan links in the group deal forum for a better solution.

Call up David Burnette before you go to Ebay 1888 254-6060

When you Recieve this hose, it is to long to work for the blower...it will need to be cut just alittle bit so it doesnt kink...put it on, match it to the car, cut alittle bit, put it back up the car, and keep doing that till the Kink comes out

also try to match it with the old one, (if it still has it's shape) you can cut to length by putting the two hoses next to each other and cutting it to match

I've just checked with another orger who works at a Nissan dealership and there's several crankcase hoses. I'm just getting him to fax me a copy of his fiche to see if a part in Toronto is the one I want.

Update: Got the fiche and its part #11823, cost $28.00Cdn out of Toronto.
Thats where everyone replaces the hose with the crankcase breather filter. Anyways, it'll come in next Tuesday.

Thanks very much for the offer but I've found the original crankcase hose!
I had remembered that the kit had come with the hose already and I checked my parts box where I saved the air box and other parts.

Update: Yes, it fits perfect!
