How deep do you guys run your intercooler? I can get a really nice intercooler thats 250$ but its 3.5 inches deep, any of you have any experince fitment on a 3.5 intercooler?

 

A 3.5" is a pretty wide intercooler. I have an I30 so my bumper is different, but my 3" intercooler is the widest I could fit without cutting up the bumper. But trimming up the inside of the bumper is really not a big deal. I really suggest taking off your front bumper and using some carbord to mocking up different size intercoolers.

 

i have a skyline kit on it, its kinda a pain in the ***....

 

Well, unless you can find a maxima with a skyline kit and a FMIC your gonna have to do your own measurements.
