How beneficial would this rebuild kit be?

I found this rebuild kit and it looks like a pretty good deal. I'm just curious (aside from the basic benefit - stronger motor) as to just how beneficial investing in this kit would be. Also, is there a better one? I dont really mind the price if its worth it.

How much power gain would I be lookin at?
I have full exhaust and supercharger (stock boost level)

You'd be looking at 0 power gain. Actually a power loss if you go with the lower compression pistons.

Don't worry about building an engine until you double the HP you currently have. Don't waste your money on it man (not that the kit is a waste of money, but for someone with anything less than an EXTREME supercharger setup, i.e. no one on this board that I know of, it is completely unnecessary).

You would need 450whp to even consider this an option. Used VQ30s are everywhere and for crazy cheap, and VQ35s are not terribly expensive either. Once you start blowing engines from straight power, not fuel issues, then this would be something to consider.

Thanks for the input guys...just one more thing:

the VQ35 is not a direct swap into a 4th gen is it? how about the 6 speed tranny?

Not direct but not impossible, lots of guys are putting vq35s into 4th gens these days. Trans is more difficult but a couple guys have done that too, and said they wouldn't do it again because it's rather pointless.
