A boost spike caused by boost creep. For example, whenever people started modding the US Spec STI, they experienced boost creep from not putting the dump far enough away, as well as a couple other factors.

Do you have pics yet?

Where is the oil pan being tapped for the drain? I want to do it in the upper oil pan but I might do the lower because it will be a lot easier.

Which car is this that you are working on? A sponsor or your own?
Sounds like its only one car so what about the other ones you are test fitting? Is this the only car that we are waiting on and once its been test fitted (assuming no modifications needed), the pipes goes on sale?
Sorry for all the q's just a little confused about what car is being worked on, trying to get an idea when this is going to be ready anytime soon or if this is the first test fit and you have a few more to go, meaning even longer wait...

that's not my own car.. it's the sponsored car..

it's a 5th gen auto.. so if it runs alright with this car, it'll run even better on the manual.. once this car is up and running with no issues, the kit will be on sale right away.

Its raining here. I'm looking at where the turbo and all the piping is gonna go since I just got my turbo today, its giving me a headache. I know if I was to do my own piping reversed-style it would be even worse. So +1 on no rain next week for the both of us.

Did you remove the oil pan to do this or was it done with it still on the car?

i had to remove the oil pan.. it wasn't all that difficult, you just have to buy 4 new seals, the 2 for the semi circles and then 2 o rings as well as RTV silicone gasket maker.

Yea, trying to avoid doing that but I guess I will have to. Would have been much easier if the motor was still out side the car.

if you have power tools it'll cut the time in half.. make sure you scrape the old gasket off real good.. don't pry too hard at the oil pans or else you might damage it.. a good can of gasket remover helps alot too.. scrape most of it off first with a gasket scraper or razor blade, then spray that stuff on and let it sit for a good 7-10minutes and it'll come off fairly easy, wash it out with soap and water, dry it real good and then reinstall it.

sounds like a realy good deal, prolly the main reason why i never really thought much of turbo'in the car was because i would of been stuck with the custom piping bs, so now that there is a kit coming out and under 1k is perfect !!!!!!pictures!!!!!!

Don't think the pics and prices will be announced until the test fit is complete and that no modifications to the pipes are needed. Been trying to get it outta mingo but he's still keeping us in the dark on it so we just have to be patient.

we know, mingo and we understand, no one wants to have their products stolen by their competitions for profit especially something like this.
Theres like 2-3 of us at least that are truely interested in your kit and have been patiently waiting on any updates you have available. I think we're all anixious to see this thing so we can spend our hard-earned $$$ on it and make our boost dreams come true hehe. So don't feel too much pressure from us trying to get a peek at your design early we're all like little boys on christmas day waiting to open presents but we know that it'll be worth the wait so keep up the good work!!!

i wasn't offended at all by the pushing for pix and prices from anyone. nor was a annoyed.. hell that's exactly how i feel too.. i wanted to know the pricing and what not since a month or two ago.. it's coming real soon. a mild steel one was built. it's cheaper to build a mild steel one, easier to bend and the material is cheaper, so that's what we have decided to use as the prototype that will be tested on the cars.. and once that checks out, SS ones will be built. now you guys can imagine how much money have been put in..

since it is apparent that many people want to do their own intercooler piping i am going to be selling the exhaust pipes independently from the intercooler piping.. i have already made the intercooler piping and will also be selling that too with the intercooler.
