u do relize all the work installing it and things you will need? even if you get everything else that you need youll still need to tune it well if you want it to run right. if you do want to do this then i suggest reading up basically everything on the forced induction forum. Then after you read all that make your decision. -Ryan

pshh, it's simple. just put it at the end of some CAI piping and your done. oh, also, just bolt the intercooler in place in front of the radiator if you want added HP.

how is the piping a done deal? i dont understand unless you have some sort of connection with a fabricator or bought premade piping for your exact turbo? 86max do u not understand you need an up pipe, downpipe, run custom oil feed and return lines, all prolly custom intercooler piping, all that just to get it on. Then you need at least a bigger fuel pump and most likley injectors and a way to controll them.... its a huge project to get into and not a weekend thing unless you dont sleep

you can't be serious man

i will bet good money, if you are able to turbo your max, you won't use a single part you pull off that suzuki

try a google search for the PFI kit, because the VQ can definitely handle boost

and mods.....lock the **** outta this badboy

Check the stickies in the supercharged/turbocharged section it lists the pros and cons for FI. I think you may end up selling it and using the money for other power mods.

Our engines can take pretty good boost, but you can't just throw on a turbo, at what rpm will boost set in at? Hope you know how to read a compressor map. Now on to the business of the day..

u guys all make sh*t sound like hell, like if people do things they're gonna mess up their lives. no i dont have turbo, nor do i plan on one soon, nor do i know too much about them, but i think its unfair to say "wen u read about it you'll change ur mind about turbo". how do u know? the guy wanted to know if he should try it, not if he knows anything about it or how hard it is. yes, it'll be able to handle some boost, whether u wanna boost it this way...beats me, but dont let people tell u not to do something b/c its not in their best interest, find out for yourself b/c half will say "go turbo", half will say "no turbo"...oh yeh, if u want u can send me that other free turbo and i'll do something productive with it
