please help tune , post your afr egt and psi thnx
i won't have a wide band for a while and i need to make sure my car is safe on 8 psi till my wide band get here,,, i'm running t3 to4,emanage,550cc injectors and z32 maf, also i have boost, egt and afr gauge and since egt and afr are kind of related it would help to know yours since it's already tuned
Its not that... Cars vary so widely, its highly doubtful and very dangerous to just take another persons settings and try to run your car. Good way to ensure you spend a lot more money...
I would stay out of full boost till you know your AFR's are safe. It is not worth it to boost for the next few weeks, or when ever your WB will be in, and risk things.
Wide bands are cheap anymore...around 300.00. Innovate or similar. I ran at the track 10.2-10.4 wot @ 12psi. I'm now down to 11.4-11.7wot. One, makes more power and two gas prices suck!!!! At cruze speed it's 14.7-15.1 and part throttle 13.5 (accelleration) Borrow someone's if you can!!! it's good insurance on not hurting the engine. I don't have EGT.
Do not try to use EGT for tuning AF. Timing will throw EGT waay up or down!
If you don't have a wideband available, put it on a dyno and use theirs. Remember to start from rich and slowly lean it out to where you want it (I'd suggest 11.5ish). While you are there, tune timing. I am not sure how consistent it would stay with emanage only modifying the timing... so maybe find MBT and back it off a few degrees to give a buffer incase variables change.

I did not use an EGT to tune, just my wideband. Tuned to 11.5 to be on the safe side. You NEED a wideband to tune. No other way around it.
