AUTO tranny SUPERCHARGED

im going to be installing my supercharger running 7 pounds and wanted to know if i should make some mods the the tranny to keep it from exploding? if yes which mods?

ok you definitly need valve body upgrade talk to jeff at maximum performance he is great. also a torque convertor would be another good idea , definitly a tranny cooler and i also run mobil 1 synthetic atf. well after i rebuilt it anyway..

for 7lbs of boost you should be fine, the valvebody mod and tranny cooler will extend the life even longer.

After running for one year without the tranny mods and then 3 years and 7 months following with the vb mod and tranny cooler on my automatic tranny needed rebuilding. I never went to the track and only did auto-X once a year during that time. Also my car is a daily driver too.
Btw the tranny didn't explode. It just started to slip badly and not downshift from a stop.

i can vouch for jeffs tranny, its pretty good.... ure going to want more boost, i can tell already....i got 2 buddies running the 7psi pulley and they both say they barely feel it until like 3rd gear or so...both 5spd though....

exactly 7lbs gets old quick but thats why stillen made the kit like that to not mess up the car.
