they are all the same, if you were asking because of the honda/acura thing noted in the auction. yes you can use it.

If you end up getting it, make sure to change the internal jumper settings, since it was probably set for VTEC. Just print out the manual to help you out.

I think your thinking of the VAFC and using it as the rpm signal for a VI. The emanage is not the same. Some of the settings are made by switching jumpers inside the unit. You just want to be sure that you have it set up for your engine, otherwise it can cause damage.

i thought the emanage could do it also

I tried using the emanage to switch the VI but gave up and got the summit switch.

i just decided to wait and get an AEM because it can do automatic transmission control
