The only way to Supercharge a 3.5 is have it in your 95-01 Maxima, change the timeing equpiment over to the 3.0 timing stuff along with the timing cover, and then buy one of my kits.
Still (2) Full Kits Available Guys

Im talking about guys that have 3.5 motors in their 4th Generation's. They are able to use my kit to build a kit.

Matty I am not talking about chaning the timing chain. You guys said that only the timing cover(s) should be changed correct ? Are they directly like a bolt up anything else needed to complete this project? If I can find a write up with some pics of someone doing this I would be interested in the s/c kit.

Matty, quick question:
Do I have to do anything about the pulley tensioner at all? I have the V2-SQ blower, and I bought your full starter kit since cave ages ago. Never thought of installing till now. And coming across the Stillen's instructions, they supply a custom bracket for the pulley tensioner. What do we do with our V2 setup as far as tension is concerned? Thanks.

Okay, thanks, now I've got more questions...
There's a few posts I've found to have trouble with getting to the stock tensioner with the V2 setup. Is this a really big problem at all? Do you have source to someone who's done your V1 kit with a V2 blower? I am hoping to see some pictures of the assembly so I have a ballpark of what I'm dealing with. Right now, the car is still in the shop waiting for a 3.5 back to 3.0 swap. So I have a few days to learn about the SC install.
Last night, I took out a spare timing chain cover to test fit the supercharger and the V1 plate onto it. I found the cam pos sensor to probably in the way of the belt routing. Is that why Stillen has the instruction for us to turn that sensor counterclockwise about 90 degrees? It looks like your bracket wouldn't even touch the sensor itself, but the spinning belt may have contact some way or the other. Have you any inputs on this?
Sorry, Matt, for all the consuming dumbfound questions. Since your kit is becoming so popular and reliable, I hope someone patient enough to come up with a write-up for this superhcharger install according to your kit. Stillen intructions are great, but they have custom assembly for the technical stuff. I find it difficult to relate to.

One problem is solved, the cam pos sensor is no problem after all. I was able to duplicate a mounting adaptor just like the Stillen one at the LSU machine shop today. I was visiting my friends who were working on their baha project today and showed them the picture of that cam pos clocking bracket, they made a very close duplicate of it, so it's all good. Took them about 1.5 hours, though because those guys wouldn't quit till they fab it to very precise duplicates. I want function, not appearance, but they wanted both.
Now I'm only concerned about the pulley tensioner assembly. What am I dealing with here? Do I have to customize my stock bracket? I know Stillen also had their tensioner pulley replaced by a small side-walled plastic tensioner pulley. If I'm using the stock pulley tensioner, isn't it too big, so what kinda offset am I facing with the recommended belt sizes?
I got:
V1 starter kit
V2-SQ blower w/3.6" pulley installed
T-fitting with SS Oil feedline
Rubber 1/2" oil return line
Charge and pre Charge piping w/K&N filter
AFPR
Walbro GSS342 Pump
Cam pos reclocking bracket
Bosch BOV on charge-pipe flange
Bunch of needed air hoses and clamps
Pressure Gauge
Emanage Ultimate w/MAPS and WB O2
!!!!Stock pulley tensioner, pending compatiability issues!!!
I also got as an option:
Z32 MAF w/Harness
Deaschwerks 555cc Injectors
2.67" Pulley w/corresponding Gator Belt
EVO BOV
Right now, I have everything gathered, except the 3.6" pulley gator belt. I have a 2.67" pulley with its corresponding belt, but I'm not ready to go straight to 14psi, I'm gonna stay with 3.6" pulley for now, and wonder if whether stock tensioner or stillen tensioner pulley is needed...

you use the stock tensioner bracket and pulley, the top of the bracket and the top of the tensioner were rubbing on the belt a bit so me and a tech from work just used a grinder and grinded a bit off of the bracket and the top of the tensioner and the belt stoped rubbing, the tensioner is a bit hard to get to nothing serious
hope this helps

Thanks a lot Brasso, I was looking for answers like this, but I may not be satisfied because it looks like Stillen has taken the same factory tensioner bracket and customized it as to turn it counterclockwise a few degrees to dodge belt rubbing problems, in the same time, it serves a better reach to get to the adjuster 14mm hex. I have never seen that Stillen tensioner in details myself, so I was wondering if anyone had done their own fabbing to make-fit like Stillen. But thanks for your answer because at the end, I can always do it like you said. I appreciate it.
Anymore inputs?

Hi there. I am quite keen to go this route as the turbo seems like a whole great big waste of time and money.
I am keen on going supercharged but I live in Australia, so sourcing these parts from a heap of different locations may prove to be a postage collaboration nightmare when ordering it all from the states. I only wish the starter kit included everything except the supercharger, then it'd only be two items needing shipment...
