anyone know where i can get a Tensioner pulley.... i need both fast!!!! they just went on my kit... Or if anyone know where i can get that Stillen tensioner.... or part number... I called stillen and they can't give a me a part number... or Matty can u give the size and details...

The V1 uses the Stock Maxima Tentioner Pulley. I do carry extra idler pullies in stock for the V1 Kit, if thats what your looking for.

Ummmm. do you have a V1 plate or V2?

Also, Stillen can't give you a part # because they have no more parts to give.... the SC kit has been discontinued for a while now and they no longer support/carry stuff for us.

 

i have my old stillen tensioner bracket but if you have the v1 plate like matty said you use the stock tensioner bracket

 

I have an old V2 plate, tensioner, idler, etc.

Is that what you need?

hey. i just recently got a maxima. i absolutly love the car. i am interested in getting one of your kits if you are still selling them. but i was curious as to which supercharger i need to get with this plate. the V1 or V2? or does it matter? thanks for your help!

 

Any Vortech V1 or V2 Blower will work as long as its Counter Clockwise Rotation and Straight Discharge. S-Trim, SC-Trim, T-Trim

As for stock, I have (4) total Full V1 Starter Kits available, (1) V1 Plate is Nickle Coated.

ok sweet. do you mean full kit as in with supercharger? is it possible to get a supercharger through you? or do i just need to go buy a new one from stillen? which is better? V1 or V2??and today i was looking at the car and i was curious what people did with the coolant tank and window cleaner tank. where did they move these too?

 

Before you ***** up this thread with a million newb questions, I suggest you start reading the stickies here in this forum. And use the free search. It will answer all your questions. And read the Supercharger install writeup on VQpower.com if your curious about the installation.

Read this thread again. Start at page 1. He clearly indicates what comes in his kit, and what you need to source yourself. We're here to help, but when you didn't even read post 1, page 1...........

 

V1 is Loud
V2 is Quieter
Purchased through Vortech or on Ebay used

Coolant tank needs to be relocated but the window cleaner tank can stay where it is.

matty do ur kits eliminate the use of the metal pulley tensioner bracket(plate) as used on v2?

 

V1 Kit uses the Stock tensioner pulley with the plastic Idler pulley mounted on the plate. NO stand off bolts, NO metal pullies, NO belt problems
