Ever since I went S/C, I've been carrying all my tools with me in my trunk. Full set of metric open ended wrenches, full set of ratcheting metric wrenches, power drill, and a combination tool set with a socket set. lol...

Hey guys Sorry I havent been here in a while, some dumb biatch backed into my front left bumper in a parkling lot doing 3500$ worth of damage, getting the car completely redone right now, luckaly the ic piping wansnt hit or i woulda drop kicked her right in her damn neck on the spot. Im getting a new paint job, getting my wideband put in, mevi put in, getting new wheels, new tail lights, fixing the clutch or the tranny up cause in first gear when the clutch catches there is this annoying whining noise for like a split second untill i completely engage it, also i gotta get new motor mounts in (any suggestions?), and im looking for a vlsd tranny in a couple weeks, ima try and take pics of teh damage, but yeah im in a beater for now and it was her fault and the insurance claimed it.

Also when you can't take passengers in the passenger seat cos you have wiring all around your ECU. I have oscilloscope, laptop, power supply, multimeter.

I feel ya bro. I always had a full set of tools in my trunk when I boost my b13 SE-R, cause you never know when something's going to happen, like popping off a boost hose. That's happened to me numerous times.

I'm not FI, but I (no kidding) actually got asked that once when entering an autocross event, by a WRX driver no less. He finished 2.1 seconds behind me in FTD.

I carry a very large set of tools in my trunk all the time also. Of course, they're just in case I'm going to a meet where a turbo maxima will be in attendance....

Not at all, at least in my case. I have only had one small mishap with the turbo car that caused me to pull over and make a quick fix. I forgot to put a clamp on a fuel line and it came off while I was driving.

There are all different types of turbo maxima's on here. Neal's car should not be driven anywhere without a AAA card in hand and a snap-on tool trunk following him. I would drive mine across country and not think twice about it. (That might **** Neal off but he knows it's true)

It's not that bad, alot of it is uncertainty. Until I've tested it in all situations I don't know what it can handle and what it can't.

The thing I'm most concerned with on long trips is the cooling setup. I've never driven it in HOT weather in stand still traffic, so I don't know whether the smaller but thicker radiator with just a single pusher fan will be up to the task in stand still traffic. I go to chicago alot to hang out with mike and brian and go to the track, but obviously chicago has alot of standstills on the highway, it's not uncommon for me to sit in the same spot for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and I'm worried about it because I don't KNOW how it will react. And I don't want to be 150 miles from home and have a problem.

The only other thing I consider a problem on long trips is the fact that it just has an open downpipe, which is of course pretty loud. So I have to be careful about not getting a ticket for that. That is something easily fixed, but not very high on my priority list right now. I'd rather have a car that runs and that I can take to the track but has a loud exhaust, instead of a car that has a really nice quiet exhaust but doesn't run like I want it to. If money were unlimited I'd have a quiet exhaust and be running great, but money is not unlimited.

Other problem is the blown headgasket which is just a timing issue, has really nothing to do with the physical setup of it.
