Is anyone here boosted with cams im just curioius if its noticeable when the cams hit there workin range. I got my 3.2 together and at 3k boost is in but at 4k its like insane. Tires start spinning in 3rd gear at 4k i dont know if its the cams doing that or what. BTW i will have video this week

Under boost, your power will closely follow the stock VE curve.. this is why everyone wanting boost at 2500 or 3000rpm does not make their car fast there. What cams do you have, I'm sure they are helping it breathe up top as well

Well im boosting my 3.5L come this spring using a gt35r turbo. I wanted to get cams, but im undecided one which ones I should get; tomei, jwt, nismo. It's a hard decision so I guess I have to go by specs, and which cams would perform best with turbo. I just felt instead of spending $1000+ on cams, I could get more parts that would benefit my turbo project. I might get it in the near future, but I dunno about right now....

The thing you have to watch out for is the overlap between intake and exhaust. Because with current turbo setups the exhaust pressure can be 2-3 times the intake pressure. A mild cam (with minimal overlap) should not hurt, but considering the cost for the 4 cams and then the trouble or cost of install most don't view it as worth the peformance unless you are tearing down the engine to begin with.
