Fuel Hose Size ?

Well Ive had 5/16" in the car from fuel rail to FPR, to FMU, than back to the tank. Well I went to add my FMU back in the car yesterday and bought all new high pressure fuel line, 5/16's and cant fit it over my FPR Barb fitting. Well I called up summit and found out that they sent me the wrong size barb fitting. Its 6AN which is a match up to 3/8" fuel line. The only reason it worked last time with my other hose was becasue i wasn'tusing high pressure. kind of a mistake.

I just wanna know what people are using. I ordered a -6AN barb fitting that has a screw fitting and maybe get that to work.

The fuel line I bought was $5 a foot so I kinda wanna use it. Summit told me that I should be using -5AN, but they dont make it.

Anyone >? You guys arent using 3/8" hose are you ?? if you buy -6AN SS Fuel hose from Summit racing, its really equivalent to 3/8" hose. Big problem ??
