Track Results 4/8

Finally hit my goal of 12's. Car is not as fast as I think it should be, but I am happy to finally get some decent ET's. Car still has more in her at this boost level though.

Stock motor and trans
T4/To4E 46 trim
10psi
MEVI
3" cut out
104 octane

Byron Dragway. Sunny and 50 degrees

Street tires

60' 2.322
1/8 9.105
mph 87.82
1/4 13.57
mph 112.34

60' 2.29
1/8 8.99
mph 89.19
1/4 13.51
mph 111.31

ET Streets 26x10.5

60' 2.067
1/8 8.648
mph 87.22
1/4 13.076
mph 111.06

60' 2.085
1/8 8.572
mph 88.87
1/4 12.977
mph 106.8 (lifted in 4th)

60' 2.073
1/8 8.574
mph 88.34
1/4 12.971
mph 111.54

Still not too good with the slicks, but I am getting there. I am about at the limit of this clutch. If I did more than two runs back to back I would get some slipping in 3rd and 4th. But it held on the launches.

111-112 mph is purty good. Till you pull 1.9 or 1.8 60's you holding back. Drop the pressure to in the slicks to 12psi hot, burn them down in 2nd gear, rev to 6k and quick release. Scary at first, but its addicting.

With those traps his car has a 12.5-12.6 in it, but his clutch isn't going to allow that.

That is what he's running.

BTW I think his car has another couple MPH in it with a launch that isn't a bad bog or a massive spin like all his launches today were.

After my last dyno I was really expecting/hoping more like 114-115 mph.

I was getting better and better with the ET Streets as the day went on. Next time out I should be able to pull 1.9's. It takes a bit to get used to heating them up and launching on them

I mean, my goal from the begining was for 12's. But a 12.97 is kinda....well...not that exciting. I am happy and all but I would like to get a bit deeper in the 12's. But I broke 12's and didn't break anything so I am no complaining.

yes, clutchnet 6 puck sprung hub.

After back to back to back runs dumping it from 5K on slicks it would slip a bit in 4th. Not complaining at all, clutch did a good job. Launching on slicks is really hard on a clutch. Unless I want to go with a hard core set up like Mardi's then just about any streetable clutch will give a bit under those conditions.

I had a total of 20 passes on the ET Streets. I think the Clutchnet held up pretty darn well.

Good times Mike. It was a fun day. You broke into the 12's twice that day. Glad I got to see your car run the 1/4 mile before you move to Oklahoma.
