Best oil feed line source?

I need your opinion on where to tap the oil feed line from; did you guys piggybacked into the oil pressure switch/sender using the stealthmode performance BSP/NPT fitting? or did you use the oil filter adaptor like the ones found on ebay? I've even heard tapping oil from the head; Which is the best way? Thank you for posts.

Most are getting it from the oil pressure sender.

I used the stealthmode/tuner toys setup on my old integra, its a nice setup if you run the oil from the sender hole on the block I've also used the oil filter adapter setup as well on the Integra, I like that setup better as less chances of the Tee cracking the block or cracking in the block due to vibration. and its easier to add on an aux pressure gauge.

you can also get a good custom line setup from ATP turbo too. you can get cheap assembled SS feed line, fittings and Ts from Mcmastercarr.com as well if you want to DIY it, probably put a whole feed line kit together for $30-40

Sorry to dig this up, just wanted to share some info.

If you want to piece the line together yourself you can buy from Mcmaster. Here is a sample order so you know the part numbers of the different pieces. Of course you will need to measure and decide on the specific lengths you need.

As you can see, the BSPT/NPT fittings are quite expensive. I haven't checked what tunertoys is selling their adapter for these days, but it might be better to buy their adapter. If you did this you would need one less tee fitting, and neither of the BSPT to NPT adapters. If you don't have an oil pressure guage coming off of the tee you will also need to purchase a 1/8" NPT plug, which is available through mcmaster, or through your local hardware store.

I ordered this the other day. http://www.stealthmodeperformance.com/oil-uni.shtml

Higher priced than what others showed but 1 convenient package, it's the feed AND the drain. You would probably still need a "t "to do an oil oressure gauge, which is something I am still thinking about, piece of mind though to have one.
