blown maf, 2k1 maf or z32 maf?

Just wondering if I can get a quick answer. My car is turboed and yesterday was driving up a steep hill and my Maf blew as I was bouncing at 2.2-2.4 rpms.

Now I see Z32 maf being thrown around as a term now and then.

Since I have FI, do i need the Z32 MAF or should i just call Dave B for the 2k1 Maf?

thanks

Is your MAF on the charged side?

A Z32 MAF might work with some tuning, but nobody has done that with a 5G ECU as far as I know.

Not sure if a Z33 MAF will work due to the IAT sensor/CAN stuff, but someone needs to try soon.

quick question:

So because one of the intercooler pipes got loose, my maf acted like it is blown, no rev above 2.4 and bounces a bit at 2k rpms???

If it was after the MAF then there is no air flowing through the MAF and thus 0v. Then It thinks you MAF is blown.

How long have you had your car boosted with the stock maf?

And where exactly is it located, if you wouldn't mind

its been boosted for a few months now, but the thing is i havent trully tuned it for boost... i havent driven the car much or ever pushed it... The turbo is located where the battery was, similar to the PFI kit..
