Yes, I think its the VQ30 that the coils are different lengths. Too short of a coil would not connect to the spark plug, = no spark.

Can anyone confirm this? Because if they can ima go home tonight and check my coils. Is there a noticeble difference by eye or do i have to sei there and measure all of them?

Yes front and rear bank are different lenths on VQ30's. I am 100000% sure.

So if I open my hood and see the front spark plugs should those be the shorter ones or the longer ones?

If I remember correctly, you wouldn't even be able to get the front coils in the rear on a 30 since the bolt loacations are different.
