JB Weld does all. I've heard stories of using it to glue farm tractor blocks together. If applied correctly to clean surfaces that **** is crazy strong.

your def. gonna need more then a T4 76mm Turbo in order to put down over 1000rwhp DBB or not, If your planning on running all boost, even at 36-40psi I usually see around 960-980rwhp on a 2jzgte w/ C16 on a Mustang Dyno sae corrected, im not talking about those inflated Dynojet #s

how much lift do those cams produce? what type of springs retainers? what type of headwork and valve job?

if you want to break a 1000rwhp easily like most of us, Run the
T6 GT47-80 FTW, that'll get you there... not bad either as a street turbo i have several friends making 30psi by 5600rpm - 5800 w/ 9k redline, i know of another with an HKS 3.4L making 30psi by 5100rpm

but the GT47-80 was kinda last year, now i see several of the big HP guys running GT47-88 good for 1201rwhp, 781ft/lbs torque ALL Boost... but recently been seeing several more running the GT5591 1329Rwhp

i myself run the T4 GT4276

looks like a cool project, i wish you guys the best of luck

It doesn't work at all for exhaust. Thats what real welders are for.

I agree thats its gonna need to be a freakin huge turbo. I'm not all up to spec on the big turbo specs. Still comparing other motors to this makes very little since. Apples to oranges. Is it not correct that the quest for ultimate big power typically involves many steps and evolutions of turbo sizing and trim.

don't ask me how i know....i just know that certain cars....such as a vr6 turbo with jbweld on the manifold would crack trying to hold 15psi

For the front tires I would get Mickey Thompson Drag Radials without hesitation;

I suggest the 275/60R15 (28 inches tall), or the 255/60R15 (27 inches tall) if it doesn't fit, mounted on a 15X10 rim.

Both sizes will look ridiculously mean on the front of a maxima. Mustang guys have gone 8's on them with 1.2xx 60' on the 275/60 size, and they are Street Legal.

Not looking for 1000"wheel"horsepower.. more like 1000chp.. The 4276 will make all of 1000chp for sure..

I know all about the T6 stuff... one of my buddies in AZ, has a Supra which was built by Ryan Woon (First Upholstery Supra), running a 47-88, through a stroker/glide setup.. I watched it put down 1107 through the glide.. not too shabby.. no nitrous either..

We're skipping this step, and going straight to a 27x10 Hoosier slick..

I run the MT ET Street tires on my blown 2000 GT.. They hook pretty damn hard for a radial tire!

The ET Radials are great on the street! Mine are 275/20-17. But they dont compare to real slicks. The steel belts in the radials prevent the tread from laying down as much as a slick does at launch. The coonass's are right on with skipping them and using real slicks. Le Bon Temps Roulé!

With a 4" downpipe spitting flames out, and cam profiles that would make a big block Chevy cringe, I don't think anyone will be trying to race him on the street..

It's a good thing that it's not your car.. so it really doesn't matter..

This is a long term project.. probably won't be close to firing up for a few more months.

Is this a 2 year project that a customer paid for? You may have more in common with VRT than just cams. Absolutely amazing that people would still do business with you.
I googled VRT and this thread came up...WOW
http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=300155
This thread has info on VRT. Customers never getting their cars and paying upfront etc.

Mainly just wanted to subscribe to this.

Also, are you guys at all worried about the oil pump gears shattering at those rev's?

part of the reason this has yet to be completed is because travis "the builder" pissed away all of frosty's money that he fronted to travis for the build.
