AFR w/ 550cc and Z32 untuned stock ECU. dyno inside

For those who are curious (I was too, that's why I dyno'd)...

Here is what the afr looks like when you run 550cc injectors, z32 maf, untuned with a stock ecu (btw, supercharger is not installed).

Observations: On the streets, I was pinging a bit between 3000-3500rpm which the dyno operator confirmed during the dyno.

Test data:

Looks like death below 3500.

Conclusion: Tune.

From reading archived threads, that is what I thought too, but I suppose everyone's car is different. I thought it was really strange to be pinging if I was supposedly running pig rich.

Are you running 34/43psi base fuel pressure? Stock fuel pump?

Most running this setup have a Walbro and/or FMU that ups the fuel pressure, which should lower the AFR a bit.

weird I was running 612cc's, Z32, walbro 255 on a stock ECU with my base FP at 32psi and my a/f was either off the charts rich or below 10.5. Same with I30Mike also which ran a similar fuel setup as mine. Something strange is definitely going on with your car.

BTW whats up with that torque number?

Oops, forgot to add I do have a Walbro 255 hp pump with the oem fpr, so base fp should be around 41 psi. I was also running two step colder sparks with .032 gapping (haven't switched them out yet).

The dyno was done on a dynopack, which measured power/torque from the hubs, as opposed to wheels on roller, so the numbers are slightly inflated.

Possible, but I made sure all couplers were tight after removing the blower.

It was also pinging a little (below 3500rpm) when I had the blower on. If I had a boost leak after the MAF, it would run richer.

im using a stock ECU with Z32 MAF and 550 injectors. Fuel pressure at 36psi and it runs super rich. Have to pull about 30% on the S-AFC to get it to close to 14 AFR.
