Selling becasue I'd rather spend my time with my kids, than with my car. My new G is pretty nice too. I will do somting a bit more main stream once my kids get a little older and can be involved in my hobby.

I will track it again in October or Early November before I part it out.

Hey Mardi, for some that may sound like a tough call, but I would say it's a smart moove, kids needs their parents more than anything else. I know it must be tough to see the hard work going for few bucks but at the end you'll be the winner. Thanks for all the time you've spend here and all the things that you shared with us.

I guess it was not a joke when informants came by telling me it was true!

Good luck on the sale. Someone is going to buy it complete.

Jesus, I can't believe you're selling it before you even got to really see what it can do. Didn't you only get the 3.5 up and running less than a year ago? I hope you get to track it at least once more and get into the 10's with it. It would be a shame if you did all that work only to sell it to someone who then tries to get into the 10's.
Either way, good luck with the sale.

Wow Mardi I'm shocked. And here I was waiting to see it go 10's and find out how much the new slicks and Welds helped you.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but if I'd put that much time in effort into a car I don't think I could sell it. I completely understand the shifting of priorities to the family, nothing wrong there... but do you really need to sell it? I don't know your financial situation obviously but why not just store it for a few years until your kids are old enough to share in the hobby, as you said?

My condolances on the selling of your pride and joy. A family does cause a drastic shift in goals. I really don't think we will ever see it in the tens. Some turd with some cash and no automotive knowledge will kill it the first time it hits the track.
Good luck on all your future endevors.

The J&S Ultra Safeguard will protect the motor, no worries on that part.

Yeah, I would say it's almost like one generation of Maxima pioneers is moving on and another is sort of taking roots...

You have good reasons Mardi. Kids > cars.

Good luck on the sale. I honestly don't see someone dropping 20,000 on it though. In the end it's only a maxima.

True, but I've seen people spend more money for less of a car.

Hate to see the car being sold, I've been following your progress off and on, hopefully whoever buys it will continue the car's legacy
