These part numbers refer to the spacers in place to hold the long intake pipe in place in front of the valve cover. What size are they? what is their internal diameter, and ideally, what length are they? Also, what size are the 2 bolts that are meant to hold the intake to the brackets in front of the valve cover?

the length of the bolt is 25mm. The spacer is about half and inch thick and about the same in outside diameter. i'm not 100% on the thread pitch but something makes me want to say M6x1.00.*Edit*

Right out of the Stillen instructions...

2ea. Aluminum spacers 1/2" x1/2" pressure pipe to valve cover
2ea. M6-1.0 x 25mm HHCS-pressure pipe to valve cover
2ea. M6 split lock washer-pressure pipe to valve cover

What's weird is that on my car (when I had the Stillen charge pipe) the spacers weren't even close to the right length. I had to contact Adam and Stillen and request 1.5" spacers.

On a side note, I wouldn't worry about them too much. The charge pipe doesn't move too much, assuming your on the stock blower pulley.

So am I reading this correctly? I need 1.5 in spacers, unthreaded, 1/2 in Internal Diameter?

Also, anyone have a problem with the charge pipe not lining up with the MAFS when everything is oriented properly? as in, the charge pipe goes in place, but it won't line up with the MAFS....

Well, you'll probably need the 1.5" spacers if you have a stick, or the 1/2" spacers if you have an auto. That's how it turned out between Ptatohed and myself. He's a 99 auto and I'm a 99 stick.

The 1/2" represents the outer diameter and the height of the cylinder. The inner diameter is much smaller, as only a M6 bolt goes through it. The inner and outer diameter don't really matter, just the height. Once you have your charge pipe in the correct location, only then will you know if you need 1/2" spacers or something different.

I've never heard of the charge pipe not lining up with the MAF, considering the MAF only mounts one way to the next charge pipe which connects to the TB. You'll have to be more descriptive or show a pic of your situation. I can't imagine how it wouldn't work.

Ive had my blower for over two years now, with two different types of charge pipes, one stock stillen pipes, and one 3" charge pipe, and I NEVER had the charge pipe bolted down. To me, its not a huge thing. It stays in put from being connected to the MAF and the upper section and also the the Blower.

With my Stillen charge pipe, the holes didnt even line up. Id rather have it hooked up at the blower and MAF on the other side, then have it leak and be bolted. If its bolted down, it puts stress on other parts of the charge pipe. Possibly creaking it the wrong way.

My charge pipe isnt bolted down either and I havent had any issues. Even if i had the spacers it doesnt seem to line up too well.

i had my stillen charge pipe bolted down and it just made it really hard to line everything else up. Looks like the person who had it before me bent the maf flange a little to get everything to line up. I do agree its pretty much pointless to have it bolted down since its connected to the blower and the maf; its not going anywhere.

I cut those pegs off. I never bolt up my charge piping to the motor. Thats just more unnecessary time under the engine bay.
