Z32 MAF question
Z32 MAF question
I wanted to make sure of this but.... Can I wire up the Z32 MAFS harness just by splicing into the A32 MAFS lines? Can I leave the A32 MAFS harness attached to the wiring and intact, or will leaving the A32 connector/harness attached to the wiring cause problems once I start using the Z32 MAFS?
I'd like to be able to switch back to the A32 MAFS in emergencies if I have problems running the Z32 MAFS without needing to have access to wiring tools.

Next question: I know there is a proportionality issue with respect to A/F and the Z32 MAFS/370cc injectors/A32 ECU setup. Can this setup be run for any period of time without tuning? I intend to wire up the Z32 MAFS and run the car for about 150 miles over 4 days between 0 and 3500 rpm. The car will be SAFC tuned this Friday.
Everywhere I've read about the wire-in, a new or reprogrammed ECU is always said to be "required"... Is this the case in the short-term? I am almost CERTAIN that my car is running rich throughout that part of the powerband...
