Fuel Pressure issues??? Any Ideas?

Got my rebuilt v2 back from vortech and got it back on! Woot!
Did some boosted runs tonight, she was pulling hard and strong and then suddenly my FP dropped to like 8 psi at idle . (stock injectors and cartech FMU) I thought man maybe my stock Fuel Pump went out so I disconnected my T-rex inline pump (it was whinning as normal) and there were no changes. I thought if it was the stock FP then the car would have died when I disconnected the T-Rex right??? Any ideas to troubleshoot??? I am using a pretty much brand new autometer C2 electric FP gauge.
Thanks guys.

Did the car still run OK after the indicated FP drop?

Do you have a vac/boost gauge installed? I assume you are getting idle vacuum...
