z32 MAF and vafc2 sensor type settings?
z32 MAF and vafc2 sensor type settings?
I would like to know, if when using the z32 maf do I need to change the settings of my vafc2, like Sensor No. in/out (right now i think i have it to 06 06).
Reason I ask is because I got a z32 maf, and wired it up properly and triple checked the wires and were fine. but the car just dosnt run properly. when you first start it, the air/fuel is good at 14.7, then you rev it and after that. the a/f goes to **** and car just starts to shake and you cant even rev it, same symptoms as a blown maf.

Well i got the wiring perfect, i even know it by memory. but i wanna know what settings on the VAFC2 should i use for sensor number. i have it at 6 in 6 out. I read on the safc manual that z32 maf is a HW-2 (hot wire 2) which means i gotta put settings to 2 in and 2 out maybe. im goign to test the maf again and try different settings see if it works.
btw thanx for the link.

Iv got it!!!!!!!! i just tested all combinations of settings possible. car runs PERFECT right now. the settings are at 2in 4out. When i leave home soon im taking the laptop to check my a/f see how it is.
EDIT:
Well the a/f isnt really reading properly, its is too rich at idle. i dont know why. it is at about mid 12's. I am thinking its because of the setting on the vafc. Anyone have my same setup? z32 maf with vafc2?
