I want to go turbo this summer, I am looking at all of the issues with the 5.5 ecu and thought Why not convert backwards to the 4th gen ecu. I understand that you would have to mod the cams and such much like a 5.5 swap into a 4th gen but reverse.

Anyone think that this is possible? What other issues do you think I would encounter?

 

You'll lose control for the VTCs and the variable IM by doing so. The fuel map and ingition timing would also be off. What issues are you referring to regarding the 5.5gen ECU?
