raxles would be the way i would go. i ordered mine a couple of weeks ago. very nice axles, fast shipping, and the customer service was great. they are built to be better than stock. mine cost i think $360. but i would suggest them.

You don't need new axles if and when you supercharge your Max. Where do you get this false information??

Yes, there are a handful of aftermarket axles should you break one.

What was their explanation for needing new axles? Stock axles handle the torque and work just fine. If you plan on making 700+whp, then maybe you need new axles. And at that point, the smart thing to do would be to dump your money in a different car.

Plenty but I've only ever come across one that was redesigned for high hp/torque applications, and it was expensive!

Who makes one for high hp/tq applications? Just curious.

I snapped my driver's side axle from Raxles. It was just a bad situation, was on my drag radials at 18psi going to do a burnout and there was not much water in the box at all. Im always easy when doing a burnout but I guess rubber on the floor was just too sticky.

Your not going to need new axles, there others making more power and launching on slicks and stock axles are holding fine.
