The 57 trim is ok but the 50 trim will support a little more power on the VG and is more efficient. What kind of power range are you aiming for?

Sad to say, I never got the specs on my turbo. After market T3, replacement for stock VG30ET turbo. There may be better turbos than stock trim, but I honestly can't complain about the kick in the pants this thing shoves into the engine.

Ultimately, question is: What is your setup? That in itself is going to expand or restrict the turbo you could use. Stock setup below front (Left) manifold you'll need stock size or smaller. Installing turbo over tranny you can go stock and much larger. Further, moving piping and installing turbo closer to where battery "used" to be, you can go even larger. So, what are your design plans and trying to accomplish?

im an example of how big you can go with a custom setup..

ive got a 1.32 A/R T04b hotside, and a 62-1 Cold side.

and since no one believes me that my spool inst bad ask Alex v, he rode in it.

2500 it starts building boost and has fool boost by 3500-4000, and makes good power to 7000 stock engine.

This kinda setup inst for everyone tho.. you need HIGH FLOW everything.
