The ORG's opinion counts......

Well I have come to a hurdle, sort of speak... I need to make a decision...
I am interested in either SC'ing the 3.5 or TC'ing the 3.5... Now my main concern was downtime should something go wrong... Intially the SC was the taker, as if anything went wrong you could just change belts and wuala, you are good to go... However, since the RMT (Streetlegendz is the man) has shown it's ugly head (not really ugly) this too is an option as well as if anything went wrong it would be only be a matter of disconnecting the turbo, yada yada yada...

So what do you guys think? SC the 3.5 or RMT the 3.5.... That is the question...

I am leaning towards the SC as living in NY, streets aren't RMT friendly per say....

Appreciate everyones insight on this...

this decision also is based on your power goals, do you want power from idle to redline?

a well placed turbo in the rear would be safe assuming you take adequate precautions.

the installation for a S/C is more involving than a Turbo, but patience, common sense, and organization can limit many mistakes from being made.

I favor a turbo setup, not rear mount. pricing for any setup would be fair close to each other so you goals should be the deciding factor

I'd probably go with SC unless you're a fabricator or know one who will hook you up...

do not forget with some turbo setups (front or rear) you will lose ground clearance which is not pit hole friendly either

Given some time to think about it, I'll say SC as well. With the 3.5 you're adding a good bit of torque, and though you get some with the SC, it is for the most part not going to contribute to your traction problems as much as a turbo. Also, given your other needs, it just sounds like a SC fits you better.

I think the SC has won the vote.... Especially, since every now and again I head down to the city and park in the street. All I need is to have my Turbo missing when I return... lol...

Believe me it is possible.... I have had 3 - 4 sets of bumper lenses as a result...

Thanks everyone for your input... Much appreciated...
