SC: 5th gen vacuum line placement & fuel line final questions

so im about ready to do my supercharger install this coming friday and satuday.

where are you 5th gens putting your two vacuum lines that are attached to the black box on the stock intake?

also for the fuel line, i bought some rubber lines from autozone or napa, i forget which, awhile ago and recently i noticed that it says 50psi max. should i be looking for higher rated fuel lines?

Try and zoom out a bit but I believe the larger vac line is the front valve cover breather, which is taken off and a simple small breather filter goes onto the valve cover.

The other one, I would have to see more of it

Line 1 follows the throttle cables across the front of the intake manifold

Line 2 makes a T and goes into the VIAS and the Sensor i marked

Its fresh air for that boost sensor which is pointless, and fresh air for the VIAS, another thing you can do without

Did you get fuel line or fuel injection line?

It makes a difference which type of hose it is, different pressure ratings. I found this out the hard way during my 00VI swap.

"#1" is not a vaccum line so its really nothing important. When you do the install, tie that into a fresh air line coming from "before the TB"

well now you getting at my original question, which is where is that line being placed.

-is it tapped into the air filter
-is it tapped into the intake tubing

i have looked extensively and have not found a definitive answer on relocating these lines for a supercharger install, or a turbo install.

should i assume that these lines are on the stock intake stuff for the soul purpose of receiving filtered air? if that is the case then i could probably just get it hooked up through the crank case filter that is used for a SC install.
