Well I am interested in spraying my entire run at the track instead of just spraying the 60'. I have been spraying a 50shot, but I am considering spraying a 35shot the whole time. I am just curious to know if spraying will cause a spike in boost, as there will be alot more exhaust flow and velocity. I notice when I spray any amount, full boost comes in almost instant but i have it automaticaly to shut off when it detects boost so I dont know how it will be if it were to stay spraying.

Seriously, this is risky - can you turn down the boost a bunch so you can spray the whole way on just a couple of psi ? Sneak up on the boost if you can. If you blow the motor, I have a bunch of spare 3.0 engine parts. And get wider tires - you'll need 'em...

he's not going to come anywhere close to the power alot of people are putting through stock 3.0s doing what he described...
streetz it will have no ill effect as long as your tune i appropriate, and your wastegate doesn't suck. i don't know if you're using a wet or dry kit but if dry, you obviously need to compensate with more fuel. i'd pull a degree or two of timing as well unless you're already tuned really conservatively.
haha, i love your replies harol. I wish i had a race car though, your the one that trailers your car to the track, so i consider yours the actual race car.
Neal, yea your right, im not planning as putting anywhere near as much power some of the highpowerd people like you, so i know im not pushing the limits of the 3.0 at least with 35shot ontop of the 10psi (might be in the 340-360whp range), i have a Tial WG, 38mm i believe. Also, I have a wet kit, I will mostlikely do a quick run before the track with the 35shot to check the a/f. my tune is at low 12's high 11's last time i logged.
btw by "tuned really conservatively" you mean tunning a bit on the rich side?

Hey I think it will be fine just be sure to watch the knock. My friend has a 240 with stock sr20 that is running about 16 psi on stock turbo with about a 75 shot and has about 35 passes at the track with no problem.
