VIP Maxima (Mike),

Glad to see everything worked out for you with this. I am the original owner of the V1 Plate Kit and blower. Don't know how you paid for the whole kit but I think you made out OK. I paid $1200 for the blower alone and $1200 for the starter kit. The blower did only have 1000 miles on it at the time and the V1 kit was new. That is the only thing I sold the person that you purchased this kit from so he is the sole cause for any additional parts you received that did not work out for you. Good luck with everything.

I bought the blower from Carolina Motorsports out of Charlotte, NC. They told me that the blower came off a Mustang kit. The owner upgraded to a T - Trim blower which is the only reason this was for sale.

Just about. Thats what I was going for. Fresh SC setup. Didn't want any headaches of possibly buying a bad blower.

Nice Mike. Glad you got your BOV issue figured out. In for the video of BOV action on your car.

Glad to see everything is working...

What air filter did you end up using? After putting this one on and got my boost up to about 15 psi:

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RD-1300

It made a world of difference.

i have this one http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RU-1785

it flows 800 CFM which is well over what a 13 psi application requires, let alone 10. so not sure if it could be responsible for the missing ~4 psi. i will have to double check the belt tightness to make sure its fully tight as well.

Yeah that is about what mine is CFM wise. With that filter you should be making way more than 6 psi.

Are you running an intercooler?

So how did you fix the issues with the BOV? Did it just fix itself?

Definitely a boost leak somewhere if you're only making 6psi of boost.

i routed a new vac line for the BOV instead of one off the 5 way Tee. i am thinkin about going to 11 psi spring because i think the 7 psi spring i have is just too soft and it starts to leak at around ~6+ PSI. this is only an assumption.....

Where is the new vacuum line for the BOV coming from?

Any way you can get a shot of it?

Car is still sitting in my driveway unable to start or keep idle.

I have a line for the BOV since I had one for the HKS I used to have.
