Apexi NEO
You should use an FMU, and just use the AFC for real fine adjustments for final tuning. You also don't have to mess around with which disc is right for your setup if you just go with one of these: http://shopping.lightningmotorsports...p?productid=57
Cartech FMU, fully adjustable from 1:1 to 10:1.

Thanks mtrai760, thats more what i was looking for, something adjustable and just the the afc to fine tune. Either of you guys know on a scale of 1-10 how hard a NEO install is. I can solder and splice wires pretty well, but i was still wondering if this was going to hold up my car for a day or only a few hours.
I did all my tunning with a afpr that has a 1:1 and a neon long time ago and could keep 11.3-11.5 through out my power band. A neo is not to bad it like any onther piggy back. You will need + - tps Maf wire thats about it. I think its like 8-9 wires all total.
So basically if i am understanding this correctly. You use the FMU for the major adjustments, and the neo/vafc/safc for the finer adjustments right? If so i guess thats the setup ill be going for.

If it's anything like the SAFCII, it will be like this:
Required wires: TPS/RPM/MAF(x2)/PWR/GND(x2), where KS and O2 are optional.
Expect to spend 1-3 hours. Most of the time will be spent taking off/on interior panels and such. I had very little soldering/splicing experience whatsoever, and it took me about 2 hours straight.
