Somewhere around 145, I'm guessing. That's what a mildly modified Hayabusa or ZX12R will do.

A stock ZX11 can do 10.25 at 135 or thereabouts, but that's with a 150 lb rider. It's been a long time since I saw 150. I think I weighed that much for about 15 minutes back in high school.

The kit I'm getting is set for 4 psi, which should get me into the 180-200 hp range without having to go into the engine and lower comp ratio or change ignition timing maps. Once I have it running well maybe I'll start doing things to turn up the boost safely. I can't imagine why I would want to, but when I got the bike a couple years ago I thought the same thing about boosting it at all.

Sweet! Quite a lot of fast bikes at the track around here.

What's the current state of the Maxima these days?

You had me fooled into thinking that was going on the Maxima!

Are building all the piping for the turbo on your bike? Good luck, looks like fun.

Modified exhaust is included in the kit I bought, so no creative pipe dreaming needed on my part.

I don't think I'm going to stretch the swing arm. I know that will limit usable power, but I like having a bike that handles the twisties reasonably well.

I sold the 95 Maxima a couple of years ago to help pay for my son's college tuition. I returned it back to stock and sold off the goodies individually. Flava24/7 has the supercharger kit.

Yeah, I remember when your 95 was newley superchargeless, in fact, I have your old Apexi exhaust! Good to have some of your parts live on!

How does fuel management work on the kit?

The bike is carbureted, and it is a blow-through kit, so the increased air flow results in more fuel sucked into the intake ports without the need of increasing fuel supply pressure (but more on that later). Steps have to be taken to make sure the carb float bowls see boost pressure so that the fuel will flow through the main jets in the presence of boost pressure, and the carbs have larger mains installed to provide adequate richness.

There is a fuel pump and fpr included that bumps the fuel pressure up to 3.5 psi under boost, but that is to ensure adequate fuel supply to the carb bowls so that they do not empty and not for increasing fuel flow into the intake.

It is definitely a cruder fuel management scheme than a fuel injected bike or car has, but it works pretty well without sacrificing driveability. I will be using my LM-1 wide band stuff for tuning, of course.

I'm thinking of boosting my lawnmower and finding some trees to mow. Should be fun.

Dunno what it'd do on the 1/4 though. I can't run very fast.

OR.. I could TURBO a RIDE ON MOWER!

Genius!

That's the intention. I did a trial fit a couple of weeks ago and worked out all the assembly details I wasn't sure about. The kit is made specifically for my bike, but it is used and one of the header pipes had apparently cracked. It was rewelded, but not very well, so right now I am fixing the repair job.
