Intake related question

Just a quick question for those of you who are boosted.

After the MAF are you running t-bolt clamps or regular worm gear clamps? Reason asking is im just about to send my order in for some final silicone couplers/t bolt clamps, but im wondering which ones i will need to go from my MAF to throttle body. I cant remember the size of my throttle body off the top of my head, and its pissing down with rain. Im guessing around 60-65mm (2.36" to 2.55")

Thanks!

use t clamps....the regular crap will pop, a 2.5 should be ok for the TB, get a 2.75 also just in case....

T-bolt clamps. Just be careful on the size. I got some 3" silicone couplers and some 3" T-bolt clamps, and they were VERY hard to install. I started going with the next size up and it made it much easier. I still have a couple to replace.

These guys are in WA (Spokane I believe) and have really fast shipping to our area. I have ordered from them several times, good prices too: http://intakehoses.com/Merchant2/mer...T&Store_Code=I

Thanks guys!

And yeah i have dealt with intakehoses.com. There awesome, fast shipping, he actually even shipped it to Canada for me for the same price, because the canaidan dollar at the time was worth more so he said he had enough to send it to either places. Charlie is a great guy to deal with!

Anyhow, yeah see i wasnt sure, i was looking at pictures, and some people had just the normal clamps on the TB/MAF side, i didnt know why, i dont think there would be any difference before/after the maf.

On that note too, i got some 3" t bolt clamps, and a 3" to 2.5" reducer, and man, that clamp is rediculously hard to get on.

Im running normal worm clamps on my maf to tb. They seem to be the only ones that arent popping off. I have t bolts on everything but that.

Ptatohed and I have been preaching to use intakehoses.com for years now. Glad to hear some of guys are actually buying from intakehoses.com as well. Charlie has good customer service, prices are fair, and he always reduces the cost of shipping dramatically if you call him and place the order (at least for us West Coast guys).

As stated, it doesn't matter if it's before the MAF or after, use T-clamps everywhere.

Another good thing about that site is it tells you what size clamp to get based on whether you're using a rubber or silicone coupler. Material does matter.

I'm running lower boost so I don't have anything popping off but yeah, regular clamps on the maf to tb and pretty much t-bolts everywhere else.
